Join us for two days celebrating America’s favorite gourd – the Pumpkin. Fun for the whole family.
All day activities include: the corn maze, face painting, pumpkin painting, slides, hayrides to pumpkin patch, playground, food for purchase, country store. Winners from the coloring contest and pumpkin carving contest will be displayed as well.
Other activities on the schedule: pie eating, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin shuffleboard, guess the weight, seed spitting, pumpkin painting, live music, storytelling, and the Pumpkin Glow.

Samantha “Sam” Leopold is a 5th grade student at Hillrise Elementary who enjoys singing, acting, crafting, sewing and swimming. Sam is looking forward to meeting new people and trying new things. Sam is also a recently-diagnosed type-1 diabetic who sees the Pumpkin Princess job as an opportunity to raise awareness of diabetes and the fact that “despite the disease we can succeed.” |

Ashley Leyba, a 5th grader at Desert Hills Elementary, is the first runner up for the 2009 Pumpkin Princess. Ashley describes herself as an artist and a very happy person whose perfect day is spent with friends and ends in a sleepover. |
